Hi! Iâm so excited to team up with you to pull off something thatâs going to be AMAZING.
The Border Collie Summit 3.0 is scheduled to run from 3rd-5th March 2024. Your host is Sarah Hedderly of Dingbatt Dog Training and the Border Collie Academy.
The summit is dedicated to helping people understand more about their border collie and how to train them. I want to create something that will show them how to build an amazing relationship with their dog, ensuring they are living a full and happy life.Â
We want to make taking part in this summit so EASY for you, while giving you plenty of opportunities to attract new people to your audience.
On this page, youâll find all kinds of resources meant to make your life as a speaker as easy as possible and answer any questions you might have. If you run into a question I didnât answer, email me at [email protected] or ask in the Facebook group.

How it will work
The summit will start on Mon 3rd Mar, and run until Wed 5th Mar. There will be a number of presentations released each day, which will be available for 24 hours. Â
These presentations will include 20-30 minutes of content (with up to a 2-minute pitch at the end). I am open to longer presentations if requested, but feedback from previous summits is that the shorter presentations are preferred due to the timescales involved.
While the presentations themselves are pre-recorded, all speakers are encouraged to be active in the Facebook group and to interact with attendees. We will create a post for each presentation and all posts about your presentation will be in that one thread. There is no video component, so attendance in PJ's is encouraged đ
When people register they will have the option to purchase an 'All Access Pass' - this will give them lifetime access to the presentations.

Along with the presentations, there will be a Facebook group for attendees to hang out in, hold each other accountable, and ask all of us additional questions. You have the opportunity to join me for additional lives within the FB group too to answer any common questions that may crop up, connect with the attendees, and provide even more value (optional).
Promotion of the event will start from 10th Feb. During the promotion phase, as the summit is running, and for a few days after the summit is complete, weâll also be promoting the All-Access Pass. Whoop!
What I'll ask of you
In order for the summit to be as big a success as possible, there are a few things that I'll need from you.
1. Basic Information
The first thing Iâll need is some information from you so I can finish up our registration page and Speakers page. Please complete this form with your details.
2. Presentation
Next up is your presentation! This is a 20-30 minute pre-recorded presentation that is meant to be more friendly and casual than perfect and structured. We want our attendees to learn something great, while having fun in the process.
Please structure your content in a way that allows attendees to walk away feeling like they've really learned something, rather than a webinar format where they feel like they're missing something that they need to buy from you asap.
With that being said, you have your choice of the following presentation formats:Â
- Slides
- No slides (just your gorgeous/handsome face)
- AÂ mixture of the two
- Interview-style
If youâd like to go with the interview style presentation, email me to schedule a time. Weâll work together to come up with questions.Â
No matter what format you choose, you are free to use your presentation however youâd like in the future.
Your presentation should include great, actionable content. Hereâs the suggested format:
- A quick introduction
- An overview of your topic
- Where people go wrong with your topic and tend to overcomplicate it
- Teaching section
- Specific action steps (with the goal of simplifying their existing process)
- Up to a 2-minute freebie pitch
Presentations are due by 3rd February 2025. If you are going to be late with your presentation, please let us know.Â
3. All-Access Pass ContributionÂ
By adding extra content to the All Access Pass, we increase the likelihood that people will purchase it. Additional contributions can be downloads or other pre-recorded training.
Included in the All-Access Pass:

- Life time access to Summit presentations
- Session transcripts (don't panic - we deal with getting these in place!)
4. Promotion
I ask that you send at least one email to your list, as well as actively posting on your social media as much as you can to promote the summit. The more we promote the event the more everyone gains from it.
Promotion will start from 10th Feb.
We will share email copy and social media swipe files with you. Â
5. Live Participation
Live participation is optional. You will be welcome to join me live in the FB group to answer questions if you wish. You can also join in for panels, hot seats and Q&As which we hold in the Facebook group.Â

To make it as easy as possible for you to generate extra income, the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, youâre more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own Facebook ads.
